There is no rocket science involved in learning and applying positive parenting skills You don't need to acquire some kind of special training or talent,  you simply need to be willing to learn the required parenting approach. Sometimes it can be very challenging to take an interest in your child's everyday activities and find sufficient time daily to pay enough attention to him or her. Here are some effective positive parenting tips to help you get started. 

 Positive parent though not complicated task but it demands your time and efforts, For instance, you'll need to be actively interested and be involved in your child's life. For positive parenting, you not only have to strengthen a healthy bonding but also maintain an open line of communication between you and your kid. 

When you apply positive parenting, you surely praise your child enhance his trust in you but you will fail to communicate this message if the action will not be done at the right time and moment, therefore know the right time to give this gift to him.

It's great o tell children how superb they are in general,  but you also have to focus on some specifics. Praise your child generously for a specific positive action, like obtaining a high grade on his or her academic results. Of course, you will avoid meaningless praise, but the right amount of appreciation at the right moment can boost their confidence and trust in your love and care. when it's appropriate give praise in a consistent manner because this lets your child know that your praises are genuine. 

It is widely believed by parenting experts that the most effective parenting style is the authoritative style. Keep in mind the authoritative style is different from the authoritarian style,  In the authoritarian style of parenting has kids have to obey their parents' decisions without any question.  While in the authoritative style of parenting, you set the ground limits, rules, and boundaries for your children, and at the same time, you remain always open to communication and discussion with your child about these rules, limits, and boundaries. 

There are misunderstood concepts of positive parenting parents being permissive parents, not defining any boundaries or rules for their kids to follow.  In fact positive, authoritative parenting is all about setting appropriate rules and boundaries by the parents who are actively and keenly interested in their children's lives. Positive and authoritative parents are open to healthy communication, are flexible and welcome discussion with their kids regarding important rules.

 Know what your child is doing at all times and who your child is with, though mobile phones and the Internet have made it almost impossible to monitor your child's activities and it has become a lot more challenging to know exactly about your child's social circle, you still need to be aware of what your children do online. It does not mean that you have to constantly watch your child. Try to monitor his or her online engagement and activities,  Don't assume that your kids are safe simply because they're using the computer at home or just texting their friends. Your guidance, attention, and interest can secure your children from being mishandled  and misused by others.
