The problem is really big and obviously needs an absolutely right and quick solution. 

Babies cry for various reasons so they should be treated accordingly.

1. Your baby is tired.

 

It is a common reason that babies from( 6 months-2years) mostly cry.  She is fussy and cranky when is tired and pretty hard to handle and soothe. An overtired baby doesn’t take full-blown naps and this, in turn, becomes the reason for their crying.

To keep your baby in a good mood you must take care of their rest and make sure that they sleep according to the recommended sleep hours.

2. Your baby is sleepy.

Babies cry when they feel sleepy, as they fight with the phenomenon of falling into sleep resultantly feeling irritated and exhausted. Their cry is a sign of their struggle to stay awake while sleep is letting them down. Help your baby in her combat by soothing her eyes with a gentle touch and swaddling her or prefer a dark room for her sleep where there is no stimulation or sounds.

3. Your baby is overstimulated.

Being too much around noises can make your baby cranky and have tantrums and this is called getting overstimulated. She may turn her head away, clenching her fists, move in a jerky way, kick or wave her arms and seems upset. Settle your baby’s mood with quiet time.

4, Your baby is seeking your attention

Sometimes your baby cries to seek attention. It is the time when she gets emotionally attached to you.  Unable to describe her feelings, she gets upset and behaves in a fussy manner. Give her quality time that can soothe her frustration and bad mood. At this time make sure that you are giving her complete attention by keeping your mobile or tablet aside.

5. Your baby is hungry.

Hunger is the most common reason for babies crying, especially in newborn babies. She lets you know that she is hungry. Mostly she stops crying after getting full.

6. Your baby is feeling insecure.

It is the Mother's lap where the baby feels secure and she wants to stay there at the times when she is feeling danger or discomfort.  Give her the feeling of being safe with your company and she will be calm down by the miraculously soothing effect of her mother’s lap.

7. Your baby is feeling pain.

Keep in mind that the reason for babies crying maybe the pain in the abdomen, ear, or in any other part of the body which she is unable to explain in words. At the crawling stage babies usually get hurt repeatedly when they try to stand up, and they cry due to the pain felt in the body. Examine her thoroughly and take her to the physician if needed.

8. Your baby is feeling irritated.

Your baby may cry due to an irritation felt in the skin or eyes, or it may be a nappy rash. She can not handle the irritation caused by eczema or an eye infection so gets frustrated, cranky, and fussy. In this kind of situation consult with your doctor as soon as possible.

9. Your baby is in uncomfortable clothing 

 The reason your baby’s crying might be her wet clothes. She wants to get rid of the wet diaper. Check her clothes and keep her dry and keep her safe from the discomfort of the nappy rashes. Apply the nappy rash cream prescribed by the doctor.


Your baby has Colic.

Sometimes your baby is not hungry but so irritated that entirely refuses your efforts to comfort and soothe her instead she gets frustrated and flushed.  The reason for her crying may be colic.

She screams, passes gas, clenches her fists, and pulls her legs to her abdomen. Colic symptoms are found in newborn babies till the first few months of their age. It can be treated through different home remedies and the medicines prescribed by the doctor.
